What We Do
What We Do
Scilla Behaviour Support Services in Fort St. John, British Columbia works closely with families as well as other professionals in the community. We team up with clinicians, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, schools and many more to ensure that we are working as a team to get the best possible outcome
for each child.
We also provide support to families going through the process of getting diagnosis or other supports. We are happy to refer to the appropriate individual or team when looking for various supports and funding and we are happy to help you and your family every step of the way!
We use Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) throughout our sessions while maintaining a client-centered approach to implement individual behaviour plans that target the following eight key areas in the child’s life and development:

Social Learning
Social Learning
We offer structured social settings in which children are able to participate in peer interaction and play. On some Fridays, we hold Friday Night Drop In and Social Group where children learn social and communication skills while participating in crafts, icebreakers and team building activities as well as various other skills.
On Saturdays, we offer swimming and skating, where children are able to enjoy the pool with peers and participate in organized and structured games.
